Best Dressed

I made a couple of salads this weekend to make sure my new oil and vinegar were up to par.

Greens with tomatoes, chopped steamed broccoli, avocado, and blueberries.

Greens with tomatoes, carrot, scallions, and bacon.

Both were delicious, but much less strong than I expected! At the olive oil store, we tested them straight up, out of plastic cups. Eating them with other food really subdued the flavors. The vinegar though, is so great – thick and syrupy and sweet.
